Sierra Club volunteer Lara Schulter assisted with IPF's ongoing snow-fence removal project in 2005. |
Volunteers are essential to the work of the Independence Pass Foundation. Volunteers assist with a variety of projects. They help out with revegetation work, including the educational planting program with Roaring Fork Valley students, as well as with snow-fence removal work, and they are invaluable in helping produce IPF's annual Ride for the Pass in May. Volunteers are needed to help with school planting projects. Students return to the Pass to visit "their" trees and see how they are progressing!
